  • Regional Gender Expert, BMZ-funded SARES Project (Burkina Faso, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Chad) (June 2025–October 2027): Leading integration of gender, social inclusion, and Do No Harm principles across five countries; trained 25–35 managers on applying these principles throughout project design, implementation, and monitoring; supported development of country-specific gender action plans to enhance project impact and inclusivity.
  • GBV Expert, ENABEL-funded collaboration with the Ministry of Family and Solidarity (Burkina Faso) (November 2025–March 2026): Leading the development of Burkina Faso’s first comprehensive national training manual on gender-based violence, the first of its kind in West Africa; the manual is scheduled for validation in March 2026, with pilot implementation in two to three regions in mid-2026, followed by nationwide scale-up.
  • Evaluation Team Leader (Burkina Faso) (July 2023–December 2024): Led two high-profile evaluations of major bilateral and multilateral programs supporting women’s empowerment, including: 1) the Fond Commun Genre, a pooled funding mechanism co-financed by eight donors (UNFPA, UNICEF, the EU, and the Governments of Canada, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, and Switzerland); and 2) Phase I of the Swiss-funded PAPEA project, implemented by SNV and Helvetas.
  • Recruitment Committee Team Leader, Coordinating Mechanism of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, strengthening governance and oversight capacity (Burkina Faso) (September 2023–March 2024): Led recruitment and onboarding of four senior staff.
  • Gender Equality Consultant, Global Affairs Canada-funded FAED Project (Burkina Faso) (June 2023–February 2024): Strengthened ministry and project ownership of four core gender deliverables: a gender baseline, gender strategy, gender action plan, and five-year gender implementation plan.
  • Regional Gender Expert, ECOWAS Center for Gender Development funded three-country review (Burkina Faso, Benin, Senegal) (August–October 2023): Increased public awareness of and support for GBV.
  • Gender Expert, AFD-funded Improve Access to Safe Drinking Water in the Sikasso Region (Mali) (June 2022–April 2023): Served on four-person technical team conducting baseline surveys and developing a gender strategy, action plan, and implementation plan for the project.
  • Advocacy Program Officer, Planned Parenthood Global Office (Burkina Faso, Uganda, Kenya, Senegal) (August 2016–November 2022): Oversaw staff recruitment (in Burkina Faso and for the national and regional office) as well as training and technical support for the 20 local CSOs and NGO partners (in the four countries), with core funding from the Bloomberg Foundation; in 2020, Team Leader for a new international strategy for Planned Parenthood’s global operations that focused on three themes (global advocacy, politics, and team building).
  • Project Coordinator, USAID-funded Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights Promotion Project, co-executed by the Association of Female Jurists and Pathfinder International (Burkina Faso) (January 2015–April 2016): Led advocacy for reproductive and sexual health rights.
  • Gender and Development Specialist, USAID/FFP-funded VIM Project, implemented by a consortium led by ACDI/VOCA with Save the Children International and SNV (February 2012–April 2014): Strengthened gender integration by producing the project’s baseline gender analysis and agreed gender strategy and action plan, and by training 75 staff on gender concepts and enhanced MEAL analysis to better capture and communicate gender-related outcomes.
